I helped my classmate and friend Keith Beltramini design and develop a website to display his 3D, Motion Graphics, and Animation work. His work is outstanding, so be sure to check him out!

Project 3 for Jason Arena’s Dynamic Persuasion class will be a group project with my homie Keith Beltramini. I’ve always had a great experience working with him, and he’s an awesome 3d/motion graphics designer.
Here are the layout comps:

I’m doing a shoe website as a final project for Adam Smith’s QTVR(which isn’t really qtvr anymore) class, props to Nathanael Wolfe for helping me develop the concept further when I wasn’t really too enthusiastic about my idea.
Here’s the comps I came up with, but after talking with Adam and Nate, the interactions are going to change a bit:

Spring Quarter @ RIT is finally over!
It’s been a tough quarter, but Keith Beltramini and I pumped out a lot of work for WXXI, the local PBS station, as a project for our Emerging Multimedia Class. We had 10 weeks to complete this project, the first three weeks (I think?) were dedicated to planning and storyboarding, giving us around seven weeks to complete all the pieces. Each piece was created using images cut out of stockphotos, or created from scratch, then made into compositions in Photoshop, and animated in After Effects.
You can peek at them here .

Tonight.. i was just playing around in photoshop with some stock photos i had lying around, and after a while it started looking like something. My only regret is not starting out in a higher resolution; otherwise it could have been a wallpaper or print =\ It wasn’t expected though so oh well~ I haven’t made a design in this trendwhore style in forever!

I got accepted to [Rokkan] as a design intern for the summer, I’m PUMPED! They’ve got some awesome work and clients, I’m feeling closer and closer to my goals in life. I can’t wait till I graduate next year and go out and do awesome professional work.

Jerlyn and I went to the legal wall in rochester today, it was cold but we took some pics! She took out her rebel xti that was on loan from the cage, and the panorama came out great!

After more than a year on hiatus (not having the time to complete a website, and not being content with a design by the time I had more time to work on it), JLD is finally back! Check it out!

I’m relaunching this blog (previously at jefflindesign.com/designlife), partly because I want to start blogging my design stuff, and also because I deleted the previous blog from my webspace after becoming fed up with countless spam comments. I just found out about the Akismet plugin for wordpress and have enabled it. Hopefully this plugin and the changed address will help prevent much spam from getting posted.
I went blog template browsing this morning and couldn’t find anything better; Hemingway is still my favorite. I modified it a bit. I’ll probably change it up more when I have the time.
To my New Media Design Peeps - If you have a design blog that you’d like to get linked up with, let me know! You know where to find me… You can link to my blog using this address: http://labs.jefflindesign.com.
I’ve been working on my flash portfolio, and I’m hoping to have it done this weekend, so I can send it out. I’m also planning on designing some quick business cards and getting them printed at overnightprints. I requested a sample pack and received it within 2-3 days, the samples seemed to be of decent quality, and their prices seem fairly cheap. Hopefully I can have them designed and printed before FITC I’m looking forward to this trip, it’ll be a much needed, educational getaway from Rochester.
